You will have a single health plan that gives you the same comprehensive benefits you had previous to becoming a MTA New York City Transit/Aetna Medicare Advantage member with one ID card.

Aetna Medicare is a PDP, HMO, PPO plan with a Medicare contract. Our SNPs also have contracts with State Medicaid programs. Enrollment in our plans depends on contract renewal.

You may have the option to use mail-order. For mail-order, you can get prescription drugs shipped to your home through the network mail-order delivery program. Typically, mail-order drugs arrive within 7 to 14 days. Please call us if you do not receive your mail-order drugs within this timeframe. Aetna members, please call if you do not receive your mail-order drugs within this timeframe. Members may have the option to sign-up for automated mail-order delivery. For Customer Service call the number on the back of your ID card.

Aetna Medicare's pharmacy network includes limited lower cost preferred pharmacies in: Urban Michigan, Rural Nebraska, Rural Maine, Rural Michigan, Suburban Illinois, Suburban South Carolina. The lower costs advertised in our plan materials for these pharmacies may not be available at the pharmacy you use.
