Learn About Your Flu Shot Benefit

The single best way to prevent the flu is to get your flu shot

How flu shots are covered

Flu shots are covered under Medicare Part B (medical) coverage. When you get a flu shot, show your ID card for medical coverage. Prescription drug plans (PDPs) don't cover flu shots.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends everyone 6 months and older get the flu shot.
